To celebrate the end of the year, B&K hosted an intimate NYE party at a private residence in Maldon with a high-profile Melbourne chef serving a mouth-watering banquet of summer salads. From the beautiful Balinese Babi Guling to the delicious confit duck with cold soba salad, it was a real treat for the team to be working alongside the well-known chef on this perfect afternoon. Cooling cocktails flowed as the sun set for the last time on 2011 with an array of oriental-inspired drinks. Bergner & Koch’s styling for the event included a forty-metre handmade bunting that draped across the facade of the pool pavilion framing the area beautifully with the vintage rusted birdcages that housed the hundreds of tea light candles that glowed ’til the very last guest hit the hay.
